The Search for the Spiritual Through Art: Music, Worship, And Faith
This year’s program explores how Jewish, Christian, Islamic, and Hindu religious traditions are manifested through artistic expression with presentations by acclaimed scholars and musicians and opportunities to view related collections in museums and houses of worship. The series is presented by the Cincinnati Art Museum, the Edward B. Brueggeman Center for Dialogue at Xavier University, the Center for Interfaith Community Engagement at Xavier University, the Hindu Temple of Greater Cincinnati, the Islamic Center of Greater Cincinnati, the Skirball Museum, Cincinnati, at Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion, and the Taft Museum of Art with support from the Ohio Humanities Council.
